Divine Threads – Ethnic Couture SS24
A contemporary revival of traditional Indian motifs, fabrics, and embroidery with a focus on elegance, identity, and sustainability. This collection featured handwoven silks, zardozi work, and heritage-inspired silhouettes tailored for the modern woman. Showcased at Bangalore Fashion Week, the line was celebrated for its refined craftsmanship and cultural depth.
New York Ethnic Fashion Expo 2021
Represented Indian ethnic wear on a global stage at NY-Ethnic 2021. My collection stood out for its innovative draping, fabric layering, and the fusion of contemporary tailoring with heritage textiles like Banarasi, Chanderi, and Kalamkari. This showcase emphasized the global relevance of Indian artistry in modern fashion.
Custom Work & Collaborations
⚫ Bridal Couture: Designed over 50+ bespoke lehengas and sarees tailored to diverse bridal aesthetics—from regal North Indian styles to coastal South Indian inspirations. Each piece was hand-finished with heritage embroidery like mirror work, kantha, and kasuti.
⚫ Brand Identity Styling: Partnered with lifestyle and wellness brands to design seasonal campaign wardrobes, editorials, and influencer shoots. Focused on color storytelling, trend alignment, and translating brand values into fabric form.
⚫Personal Styling: Provided end-to-end styling for clients attending red carpet events, celebrity weddings, and fashion editorials. Services included wardrobe planning, lookbooks, accessorizing, and onsite fitting supervision.
Fashion Illustration & Concept Boards
Specialize in fashion illustration as a tool for creative communication. Created detailed concept boards, color palettes, and material stories for seasonal collections and client briefs. My illustration work has been featured in pitch decks, lookbooks, and fashion education workshops.
Fashion Show Direction & Event Curation
Directed and curated multiple fashion shows and private client showcases in Bangalore and Seattle. Responsibilities included model choreography, music coordination, backstage supervision, and runway styling. My shows focus on immersive storytelling and visual impact.
